This session focuses on the Clean, Jerk and/or Snatch. Work 1-on-1 with one of our coaches and receive specific feedback, personal cues and in-depth knowledge about technique, position and accessory drills to compliment one or all of these movements, with goals of improving your lifts.

Mobility

Our coaches will evaluate your limitations and general range of motion to provide you with a more functional approach to movement. We will assess your goals and personal deficiencies to provide you with an appropriate plan designed to be practiced daily for the prescribed amount of time. The expectations is that these small changes result in vast improvements, allowing you to prevent injury and unlock movement and strength potential within your daily workouts.

Powerlifting

General 1-on-1

This session is designed specifically for the athlete that prefers a more personal, 1-on-1 approach to the traditional group setting. Work through daily class programming in more detail and with extra attention from one of our coaches. This session allows for more personalized cueing, slight programming modifications to suit the needs and interests of the athlete.

CrossFit Kids

Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids.

Good morning Coach, I just did a workout at a CrossFit gym here in DC and I want to tell you how much I appreciate the team at Defined. You guys "spoil us" with not only amazing equipment but also amazing coaches who know how to bring the best out of us.

I could go on...If you're on the fence about spending a significant chunk of change every month, think of it as one of the best investments in yourself you can make - physically, mentally, and socially. It doesn't matter if you've had trouble going to the gym regularly in the past or you've been a competitive athlete, this place is for you. Seriously. Do it.

From day one, everyone has gone out of their way to learn my name and relate. It really is an awesome community. I imagine CFD is CrossFit the way CrossFit was always meant to be - gritty (no mirrors - sorry, no selfies), casual, warm, and effective.
