Not sure where to start? Make Foundations your first move.
Defined brings out the athlete in everyone, and our Foundations program is the perfect place to start.
All incoming athletes with less than 3 months of prior barbell or CrossFit training start with our Foundations Prep Course. After that, you can enroll in any of our classes. This course includes:
- 2 private one-on-one 60-minute sessions with a coach
- An opportunity to learn or review skills and build confidence

Session 1: Intro to Defined Training and individual training goals.
You’ll learn squat and hinge movements and complete a workout that incorporates the skills you learned. We’ll help you understand your conditioning level to prepare you for class.
Session 2: Learn to modify workouts based on your goals.
You’ll learn pressing movements and Olympic lifts. This session also ends with a fun, challenging workout.
