Push Up Challenge – Day 6

Team WODs @ 8a, 10a, 11a (see WOD below) 
Powerlifting @ 9a (see WOD below)
Olympic Lifting @ 12p (90 min class with cover mobility, olympic work and accessory lifts)

 

Team WOD Programming – 30 Min AMRAP Gut Check (teams of 2)

60 KB Swings  (70/55)

60 Pull Ups (no bands, help spot one another.  You can kip or go strict)

60 Lunges (w/ 20/14lb Med Ball held above head or at your chest)

60 Ground 2 Overhead (DB’s 55/35)

60 Ab Mats (w/ 20/14lb Med Ball being passed back and forth)

60 Air Squats (w/ 15/10lb Plate)

60 Push Ups (Trodo style)

60 Burpees (w/ 20/14lb Med Ball being passed back and forth)

** Details:  teams of 2, split the work up any way you like with 1 person working at a time.  Just get it done and do it right.  Oh, and after each of the above movements there is a 40 calorie row.  Again, you can break up the row any way you like, but both athletes need to row at least 1 calorie.  Move perfect, control your breathing and see how much work you can do in 30 minutes.  If you get through the burpees at the end plus the 40 calorie row than start over and keep going.

Powerlifting Programming – 9a

Bench Press – Heavy 4 Rep (15 Min)
** Take 8 Sets to get to your 4 rep heavy and then do two drop sets going for max reps at 75% and 65%.

Back Squat – Heavy 4 Rep (15 Min)
** Stay tight and work towards a heavy 4 rep in the 15 min. After every set of 4 make sure to knock out 5 Push Ups.

SWOD – 5 Rounds (15 Min)
Yoke Walk 50′
Barbell Bicep Curl x7
Jane Fonda Band x10 (each side)

Finishing Move – 4 Rounds (not for time, to be completed after class)
45 Second Plank (any variation)
+
15 V Ups
