1) Yoga starts back up this Sunday at CFD Lakeview. Starting every Sunday promptly at 12p and finishing at 1p. Open Gym will start at 1p and go to 3p. Please note this on your schedule. If you can not touch your toes, squat to a full depth or put a barbell over your head with straight arms then you should really show up.
2) Group Acupuncture starting up again soon. Thursday 10/3 from 8-9pm with Jeanette. Contact Cara ([email protected]) for more info and/or to hold your spot. Limited registration each week for 12 athletes only.
3) This Saturday Lift Big, Drop Shit session #2 and a continuation of testing week. 11am and 12p Class. Pick 1: jerk or Snatch, come in and find your 1RM. There will be a plan on the board to efficiently get you to that new 1RM. Coach Jenny and Noal will be there to help with technique! Team WOD still at 8a & 10a with Powerlifting at 9a at CFD Lakeview.
4) Meat Share Update. Steve the Meat Master needs your order by 3p on Thursday. Please make sure to submit it by then. There will be a Lakeview drop off around 9:30a and a Lincoln Square drop off around 9a. Lakeview athletes, please make sure to pick your meat up by 1p, Lincoln Square pick up deadline is 12p or make arrangements with Coach David ([email protected]) to hold your meat through Monday. Thursday Open Gym Day
There is a coach or two at every class to help offer technique pointers and cues for each athlete. You can work on a missed workout from Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday or you can work on a skill that you would like to improve. Either way a coach is there to give you a hand.
AT CFD LAKEVIEW:
5:30a, 6:30a, 12p, 4p, 5p, 6p – Open Gym Times
6p – Gymnastics Conditioning w/ Coach Kara
** One of the best classes of the week. No talent needed. Just show up and improve your game.
7p – Olympic Lifting Instruction w/ Coach Noal
** Lifting heavy and super mobility are not required. Just a healthy attitude and the interest to improve the clean, jerk and snatch.
7p – Endurance – Meet at CFD Lakview for some sled push training and then a run.
